Founded by the late John Jackson, the Institute of International Economic Law is one of the world’s leading centers for the study of international trade, and operates as a hub of professional, regulatory and scholarly activity at the Georgetown University Law Center.  It also offers executive education programming for attorneys the world over.

Since Professor Brummer assumed the Directorship of IIEL in 2015, the Institute’s focus has expanded to examine the nature of international coordination and economic diplomacy, as well as international law and global policymaking.  For more, see the Institute’s webpage here.
