EU and UK reach initial agreement Brexit terms, making way for trade negotiations.
The European Commission’s president described the agreement as a “breakthrough” and expressed confidence that EU leaders will approve it. The bill for Brexit will amount to between £35bn and £39bn. Extensive coverage can be found here.
